Outreach Projects for Students and Groups
Students and groups can provide many activities for the residents of the Health Center and assisted living, including the following: playing Bingo, group sing-a-longs, sharing your musical talent with a musical performance, making a simple craft, and more. Residents also enjoy holiday theme parties, your group could host a party for Easter, St. Patrick's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Valentine's Day, etc.

To set up an activity, Cornwall Manor needs at least a one month notice. This helps assure that residents would be available to participate in the activity and that staff would be available to support the coordination of the activity.

Health Center Greeter
Do you like meeting new people? Enjoy helping others? Are you able to give two hours of your time on a weekend? Sign up to be a Cornwall Manor Society Greeter at the Health Center! Volunteers are needed to greet and give directions to visitors coming to the Health Center on Saturdays and Sundays. Two volunteers will share a shift, for three 2-hour shifts from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Volunteer training sessions will be held to cover everything you will need to know for this easy and fun opportunity! Please contact Phyllis Rohland at 273-3676 if you are interested in learning more or signing up to be a greeter.
