Living At Cornwall Manor
Testimonials

Walt & Lyn Sherman at Cornwall Manor Retirement Community

"We believe the best gift we can give our children is peace of mind. That is why we made the decision to move to Cornwall Manor while we are still young and active enough to enjoy all the opportunities offered here. Our children know Cornwall Manor provides us with a 'safety net' that includes quality on-site personal care, memory care and even nursing care and rehabilitation, should our health needs change. Making the decision to move to Cornwall Manor now was the best way to free our children from the worry and responsibility of having to make decisions regarding our care in the future."

Glenn & Sunny Fisher at Cornwall Manor Retirement Community

"Playing Bocce together was a surprise activity we discovered after we had moved to the Manor. Before relocating here, we were well aware of the easy access to the Lebanon Valley Rail Trail on which we ride our bikes and hike as well as the walking trail through the meadow and woods of the beautiful campus.

Since we have taken up residence, Sunny enjoys ping pong, Wii-bowling and line dancing; while Glenn is working out three days a week in the pool. We are fully involved in less active volunteer endeavors ranging from the Residents Association and the Cornwall Manor Society's Manor Shoppe to visiting and leading activities in Corson Hall and the Health Center. We are so happy that we didn't wait until our 80s to move into such an active place!"

George & Helen Storey at Cornwall Manor retirement community

"We initially decided to move to The Woods at Cornwall Manor because of the quality of the homes, the wooded setting and the opportunity to add some things that we specifically wanted in our new home. In the four years that we have been residents at Cornwall Manor, we have grown to appreciate the caring neighbors and staff, the security of knowing that when we go to Florida for several months in the winter that our home will be “looked after”, and the availability of so many programs, activities and services – including health care. We couldn’t be happier!"

 Patricia Ewald

"At this stage of my life as a "single" I am constantly thinking that I'm so glad George and I came here. Over these 21 years I have certainly taken advantage of all the support and care that is available here, and now that I'm single I often wonder just what I would have done had I still be New Jersey in a house all by myself."

Jack & Paula Evans at Cornwall Manor Retirement CommunityJack, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, and his wife, Paula, agree that their favorite thing about Cornwall Manor is the people. "Now that we are established at Cornwall Manor, we appreciate dining at the old inns in the area. We see the VA hospital in Lebanon as a distinct advantage. It's also an area filled with the heritage of the United States. Choosing where to retire may have been my most important assignment."
