About Us

Seal of ConfidenceCornwall Manor earned a “5-Star” ranking, the highest rating a continuing care retirement community can receive from the Life Services Network “Confidence Satisfaction Survey.” The 5-Star ranking consists of three components: Performance (services, staff and management, health and programs); Distinction (services and amenities, quality of life, wellness and safety/security); and Quality (overall satisfaction and willingness to recommend our community to others). Only 5% of all communities who participate in the survey get a 5-Star rating, according to Life Services Network.

Cornwall Manor received accreditation in 1993 from the Continuing Care Accreditation Commission. The American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging began the national Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC) on the belief that accreditation provides for the promotion and maintenance of quality and disclosure in the continuing care industry. The achievement of CCAC accreditation status indicates to the public and the continuing care industry that an accredited facility has clear, appropriate, and achievable objectives; is taking steps to ensure that its objectives are fulfilled; and is in compliance with CCAC standards.

In 2003, CCAC merged with The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Cornwall Manor received its CARF-CCAC reaccreditation through 2008.
